This is not a distressed-housing market. Homes are maintained. Churches, schools, and sports calendars set the week. Painting has to happen on that calendar, leave the driveway clean, and look right next to a neighbor who already takes care of their place.
New construction on the Hudsonville side of Grandville still needs a painter on the builder’s calendar. We hit the dates so trim, flooring, and close stay in order. The established east side of town is a different job. We do not run both through the same spec sheet.
Doors, trim, and cabinets from a Grandville job go through our Alto spray shop so the enamel is level, not brushed out on site. Family kitchens and dining rooms get looked at up close. Shop spray is how those surfaces stay even.
Well-kept does not mean the paint is new. We repaint interiors and exteriors on established Grandville streets and keep the lines sharp. Prairie and Chicago Drive homes see a lot of curb traffic. The exterior has to hold color and sheen through Michigan weather.
