Custom Home & House Painting · Lowell, MI
Lowell is a small river town east of Grand Rapids, with older village homes near the Flat River and larger lots as you head out of town, closer to Ada and Cascade & Forest Hills than it looks on a map. The work is often a planned repaint, an exterior on a bigger house, or a custom interior on a country lot. Rush-subdivision painting is not the local pattern. Care is.

Lowell is not Rockford and it is not Hudsonville. You get village streets, older wood, and acreage. Access, weather, and original materials matter more than hitting a block of identical new builds. We come from Alto, which puts us on the east side of the metro already.
Custom and rural new builds around Lowell are fewer than in faster-growing suburbs, but they still need a finishing crew that can work a longer driveway and a real spec. We do. Timeline still matters. We schedule to the builder, then staff the finish so the close does not wait on paint.
Doors, cabinets, and built-ins from a Lowell job go to the Alto shop. They come back with a factory-level coat that is hard to get in a dusty garage on a country lot. Village millwork and new custom trim both benefit from the same controlled spray.
Older village homes and outlying houses take weather and time. We scrape, prime, and repaint interiors and exteriors to match the age of the house, not fight it. Larger lots mean more elevation, more trim, and more ladder work. We price and staff that honestly.
A sprayed cabinet finish is a smart update on a Lowell kitchen that does not need new boxes. Country kitchens and village built-ins often have solid wood that is worth keeping. Shop spray gives it a new life without a remodel that the house does not ask for.
Larger lots and older interiors mean more masking, more moving, and more care around original floors. We plan for that. Occupied homes stay livable. Rural sites still get daily cleanup. We do not leave product and paper in the yard.
Based in Alto, we are already on the east side of the metro. Lowell, Ada, and Cascade are a natural service area, not a stretch. Josh Frontjes has run Frontjes Painting since 1999. 5.0 stars on Google. The walkthrough is part of the job.
